Shabbat Morning Service

10:30 - 12:30, Kiddush Luncheon to Follow

Miriam's Bat Mitzvah will be on August 25th at 10:30 am. The Shabbat service and a Kiddush (light luncheon) will happen at Temple Beth Am in the Wedgwood neighborhood of North Seattle at 2632 NE 80th Street, Seattle, WA 98115.

Saturday Shabbat service is the main service of the weekend. Miriam will lead most of the service and this service will include Miriam reading from the Torah and Haftorah as well as her D'var Torah (a brief learning with thoughts related to the portion of the Torah she will be chanting).

Celebration

3:00 - 8:00, Snacks and Dinner Provided (more info coming soon)

Later in the day, at 3:00 pm, we will host a tropical pool party. Aloha shirts and flip-flops strongly encouraged. Popcorn, frosty drinks, burritos, and games will be the order of the day.  No DJ, no pretense, just good friends and good times at a last gasp of summer bash.

 

Due to space limitations, swimming for kids only, and they will share the pool with the other members of Aqua Club.  Please be a good Galactic Hitchhiker, and don't forget a towel. The pool is large, and supervised by lifeguards.  The main party happenings will be in the club house for food, drinks, music and games (a big stack of ours, and any of your favorites you want to introduce us all to).
