The Friday night Shabbat service will consist of a typical oneg and Shabbat service  at the end of the service Margalit and her B'nai Mitzvah partner, Gabriel Ambrose, will lead the congregation in the Kiddush.

The oneg with pita, cheese, hummus, and other treats is a small celebration of the Sabbath, in this case, it helps serve as a transition from the hustle of the week to the calm of Shabbat.  Welcome in Shabbat together full of music and energy helping us connect to our tradition and each other. This service often includes a short teaching but no Torah reading. These evenings are kid-friendly and include a time for introspection.
